Here are stored ASCII files with climatology data for each month
for 50 years period (1958-2007).
 
Files with ".vos" extensions contain the original data from ICOADS. 
Files with ".int" extensions - the same data after smoothing and 
gap interpolation routines. 

Files "hw_NN.*",  where NN is month number 01...12, 
                       contain wind sea height (m).
Files "hs_NN.*",  -''- swell height (m).
Files "swh_NN.*", -''- significant wave height (m).
Files "pw_NN.*",  -''- wind sea period (sec).
Files "ps_NN.*",  -''- swell period (sec).
Files "psw_NN.*", -''- dominant period (sec).

Each file is 180*80 matrix. Each number represents average value 
of corresponding parameter in 2*2 degree box (covers 0 : 360 Lon. 
and 80 : -80 Lat., North on top). Missing data and land is 
marked as -9.99.
